Team Leader - NDIS Behaviour Support (Brisbane)

About the role

Transform Life is looking for a Proficient (or above) NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner to step into a genuine leadership role in South East Queensland, reporting directly to the Queensland State Manager. The position is full-time and permanent, with about 70-80% leadership and team development and 20-30% clinical practice, and is ideally based in Brisbane, Northern Gold Coast, Logan or Ipswich.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a geographically spread team of Behaviour Support Practitioners working remotely and in their local communities
• Provide clinical supervision, mentoring and coaching
• Support practitioners with complex cases and clinical decision-making
• Review Behaviour Support Plans and give practical feedback
• Support onboarding, capability development and practitioner growth
• Keep a remote team connected and engaged
• Maintain a reduced caseload, continuing direct work with participants, families and support teams

Required profile

• Proficient or higher registration as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner
• Experience mentoring, supervising or leading others
• Experience across disability, mental health, education, corrections, social work or another relevant setting
• Relevant tertiary qualifications
• Ability to take initiative, give constructive feedback, stay calm in complex cases and work independently from home
