About the role

Join Catholic Education Western Australia to teach in the remote Kimberley region during 2026 and 2027. You will work in vibrant Catholic school communities, delivering foundation learning for early childhood and primary students or specialist subjects for secondary cohorts across multiple outback locations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver curriculum for early childhood, primary or specialist secondary subjects.
• Support small‑class environments (10‑15 students) and address learning gaps caused by disadvantage.
• Collaborate with school principals and teaching assistants to meet community needs.
• Participate in relocation, housing, and community integration programs.

Required profile

• University degree in Education (Early Childhood, Primary or Specialist Subject).
• Australian teacher registration (or registration in another state with mutual recognition).
• Ability to commence work immediately and hold valid work rights in Australia (citizen, permanent resident or visa with ≥9 months remaining).
• Willingness to work long‑term (12‑month) or short‑term relief contracts in remote locations.

Required skills

• Curriculum planning and delivery for foundation learning.
• Subject expertise in Physical Education, Art, Science, Music, Home Economics, Theatre Arts or Design Technology.

What we offer

• Base salary $91,449‑$136,563 AUD per year plus superannuation and annual bonuses.
