About the role

Aranmore Catholic College is seeking an exceptional, future‑focused educational leader to serve as Deputy Principal – Learning and Teaching (K–12). This new senior leadership position drives the College’s learning vision, ensuring high‑quality, contemporary, evidence‑based teaching across all years.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the ongoing development, implementation and review of the College’s K‑12 Vision for Learning.
• Lead curriculum and pedagogical planning, implementation and continuous improvement from K‑12.
• Mentor and coach staff to achieve personal and professional excellence.
• Collaborate on secondary timetable development from a learning perspective.

Required profile

• Demonstrates deep pedagogical knowledge and expertise across K‑12.
• Builds strong, trusting relationships with staff, students and families.
• Leads with clarity, compassion and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Current TRBWA registration.
• Current Working with Children Check.
• Accreditation for Leadership in a Catholic School (or progress towards completion).
• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Education.
