Assistant/Deputy Principal & Leadership Roles – Kimberley Calling

About the role

Catholic Education Western Australia is seeking experienced Catholic teachers for leadership positions in the Kimberley region. Roles include Assistant Principal, Deputy Principal and Head of Department across a range of early childhood, primary and secondary schools.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and support to school communities in remote Kimberley locations.
• Oversee curriculum delivery, positive behaviour strategies and culturally inclusive practices.
• Mentor staff, manage school operations and contribute to community engagement.

Required profile

• Catholic faith and commitment to the Catholic ethos.
• University degree in Education (Early Childhood, Primary or Secondary) and registration with the Teachers Registration Board of Western Australia.
• Experience in remote or First Nations school settings and demonstrated leadership ability.

• Leadership and school management competencies.
• Ability to design and adapt curriculum for diverse learners.
