Tanker Driver – Defence Fuel Operations

About the role
The position involves operating a fuel tanker within a Defence base, loading fuel and delivering it to aircraft or designated refuelling points. You will also perform fuel quality checks, vehicle inspections and maintain compliance records while working a 38‑hour week.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a fuel tanker to load, transport and deliver fuel to aircraft or refuelling points across the Defence base.
- Conduct fuel quality checks and complete vehicle inspections before and after each shift.
- Maintain accurate reporting and compliance records for fuel handling and vehicle usage.
- Work scheduled shifts (Day 6:00‑15:00 or Afternoon 12:00‑20:00) with a 20% loading component.
Required profile
- Possess a valid Heavy Vehicle (HC) licence.
- Hold a Dangerous Goods Licence.
- Australian citizenship and ability to pass a police check.
