Purchasing Officer

About the role

TVH is looking for a detail‑oriented Purchasing Officer to support TVH Oceania. The role focuses on intercompany supply planning, order processing and ensuring optimal stock availability for production and customer orders.

Key responsibilities

• Support the local CAM Attachments team with ad‑hoc and emergency orders to keep production on schedule.
• Manage Australian branch ordering, processing branch orders and reorder signals.
• Oversee end‑to‑end intercompany order processing with global TVH entities.
• Execute daily stock ordering, monitor order statuses and manage back‑orders.
• Process supplier quotes, maintain pricing data and resolve delivery issues.
• Collaborate with Sales, Warehouse and Quality Control to provide inbound stock updates and address invoice queries.

Required profile

• Experience in purchasing, procurement, supply or a similar support‑based role.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with willingness to learn.
• Clear professional communication and strong relationship‑building skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and meet deadlines.

Required skills

• Advanced computer literacy, including ERP systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
