Talent Acquisition Manager

About the role

Metier Recruitment is looking for an experienced Talent Acquisition Manager to lead a high‑volume, multi‑state recruitment function for a well‑established organisation. Based in Adelaide, this role reports directly to the General Manager and oversees recruitment operations across South Australia, Victoria and New South Wales.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of Recruitment Partners in daily recruitment activity.
• Oversee high‑volume end‑to‑end recruitment across SA, VIC and NSW.
• Run and support group assessment sessions, structured interviews and targeted 1:1 headhunting.
• Personally recruit for managerial and shared services roles as required.
• Drive consistent hiring outcomes, quality of hire and time‑to‑fill performance.
• Partner with senior stakeholders to align workforce needs with business priorities.
• Engage directly with executive and C‑suite leaders, providing updates, insights and recruitment strategy input.
• Improve recruitment processes, candidate experience and overall hiring effectiveness.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing high‑volume recruitment functions, preferably from agency or internal talent acquisition.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including executive and C‑suite engagement.
• Experience in structured interviewing, assessment centres and proactive sourcing/headhunting.
• Calm, commercial approach with strong organisational and leadership abilities.
