About the role
CDC Data Centres is seeking a Systems Administrator to manage day-to-day operations of its corporate and operational technology environments. The role ensures seamless integration, reliability and security of servers, workstations and network infrastructure across multiple data-centre sites in Australia and New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure and maintain software, hardware, network devices and specialised technology tools.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and enforce security controls, backups and firewalls.
- Manage and support network servers, workstations and infrastructure to guarantee high availability.
- Apply upgrades, patches and new releases while producing technical documentation and IT policies.
- Provide mentorship and training to staff on new technologies and best practices.
- Act as the primary escalation point for Help Desk tickets and champion IT governance.
Required profile
- Proven experience resolving complex application and system issues at Level 2/3 support.
- Hands‑on expertise with Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Intune and VMware.
- Australian citizenship and ability to obtain and maintain an NV1 security clearance.
- Motivation to learn, develop skills and grow within a fast‑expanding data‑centre organisation.
