Systems Administrator – Hybrid (Eveleigh, NSW)

About the role

NEP Australia is seeking a Systems Administrator to join its Eveleigh office. This hybrid position works Monday‑to‑Friday during business hours and supports the day‑to‑day operation of the company’s IT infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain server hardware and software across Windows and Linux environments.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and ensure timely resolution.
• Manage data backup and recovery processes using Veeam.
• Collaborate with local and international technology teams and third‑party vendors.
• Follow internal security protocols, change‑control and incident‑management procedures.
• Assist in planning and executing IT projects, upgrades and migrations.
• Act as an escalation point for first‑level support staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Solid experience in system administration supporting Windows Server, VMware and Linux.
• Hands‑on experience with Active Directory, Exchange Online and network switches.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting and familiarity with OKTA or similar IAM platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• Ability to work autonomously and communicate clearly with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
