Supply Chain Planner

About the role

Trugrade® Medical Supplies is seeking a motivated, detail‑oriented Supply Chain Planner to support its national network of warehouses and retail outlets. Reporting to the Director, you will ensure optimal stock levels, minimise excess inventory, and help deliver exceptional service to the disability and aged‑care community.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse sales trends and forecast demand to maintain optimal inventory.
• Create, release and track purchase orders to ensure timely replenishment.
• Liaise with suppliers to confirm lead times, delivery schedules and product availability.
• Monitor supplier performance, including reliability, lead times, fill rates and quality issues.
• Prepare regular reports on inventory levels, purchasing activity and supplier performance.
• Identify cost‑saving and process‑improvement opportunities within the supply chain.
• Maintain high‑quality data for inventory items across all systems.
• Configure item masters, stock locations, reorder points and replenishment parameters in the inventory system.

Required profile

• Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Commerce or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in purchasing, inventory, procurement or supply chain analysis, or strong graduate/intern experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and a genuine disposition to care for customers and internal teams.
