About the role

Paddington Food Hall is a busy neighbourhood supermarket seeking a reliable and motivated Supervisor to join the team. The role combines hands‑on retail work with shift supervision, ensuring smooth day‑to‑day store operations.

Key responsibilities

• Run day‑to‑day store operations and manage checkout areas.
• Support customer service across the team.
• Restock shelves and maintain store presentation.
• Receive deliveries and unpack pallets.
• Assist with stock ordering and basic inventory tasks.
• Supervise and support staff on shift, acting as Duty Manager during trading hours.

Required profile

• Current NSW RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) certification.
• Previous experience in a supermarket or grocery retail environment.
• Reliable, punctual and well‑presented.
• Clear communicator who can lead by example.
• Organised and able to manage tasks in a busy environment.
• Customer‑service focused and comfortable taking responsibility during shifts.
