Structural Modeller – BIM & Revit Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a Structural Modeller to join Aurecon’s Built Environment team in Sydney. You will help design and deliver a variety of infrastructure projects, combining BIM coordination, modelling, documentation and delivery management.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the modelling of structural building designs within the Built Environment team.
• Model and deliver building services projects in Revit, and explore programming efficiencies using Dynamo, Rhino or Grasshopper.
• Federate models with other disciplines to identify and resolve clashes early.
• Facilitate virtual and mixed-reality sessions for coordination and consultation.
• Collaborate across functional groups and contribute creative problem-solving.

Required profile

• Practical experience in digital or BIM modelling, ideally within structural design; exposure to MEP is an advantage.
• Confident Revit capability with experience producing accurate models and drawings; familiarity with Autodesk Forma is beneficial.
• Ability to interpret engineering instructions, mark-ups and technical language and progress modelling tasks independently.
• Proactive, quality-focused approach with strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Curiosity and flexibility to build capability across structural and MEP disciplines.
