Strategy & Finance Manager

About the role

Linkly is seeking a senior finance professional to own FP&A, financial modelling and the accounting function. Based in Sydney, you will work closely with the CFO, Head of Strategy and commercial teams to shape pricing, M&A and strategic decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain financial models for forecasting, pricing and long‑term planning, ensuring they are version‑controlled and audit‑ready.
• Analyse performance by segment, flag risks, cost‑out opportunities and explain variances.
• Lead the accounting team, oversee month‑end close, P&L reporting and support the year‑end audit.
• Run the monthly rolling reforecast, own the annual budget and 3‑year plan, targeting ≤3% variance on revenue and EBITDA.
• Prepare Board and executive reports, building PowerPoint packs that translate complex analysis into clear stories.
• Partner with Commercial on pricing, revenue forecasting, M&A modelling, valuation and market sizing.
• Drive finance process transformation, embed AI tools and deliver shorter month‑end close cycles.

Required profile

• CA or CFA qualified with at least 5 years of strategic FP&A, corporate finance or valuation experience.
• Strong financial modelling ability – you build models that others can audit and reuse.
• Excellent PowerPoint storytelling skills for executive and Board presentations.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and solid understanding of P&L drivers.
• Good grasp of accounting processes, month‑end close and audit coordination.
• Interest in applying AI to improve finance efficiency.
