Fleet Finance Business Partner

About the role

Join SIXT Australia's Finance team as a Fleet Finance Business Partner, based in Sydney with a hybrid work arrangement. You will help manage the financial performance of one of Australia’s largest rental fleets, providing analysis and insights that drive vehicle lifecycle decisions and profitability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead budgeting and forecasting for fleet‑related costs and assets.
• Prepare month‑end financial reporting, variance analysis and commentary.
• Maintain the fixed asset register, handling depreciation and vehicle asset accounting.
• Conduct residual value analysis and depreciation modelling to support planning.
• Partner with Fleet leaders on procurement, replacement planning, write‑offs and lifecycle analysis.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations and uphold strong financial controls.
• Develop dashboards, KPIs and reports that give visibility into fleet performance.
• Collaborate with Procurement and Operations to improve data accuracy and system integration.
• Support internal and external audit requirements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Identify and implement process improvements, focusing on automation and reporting efficiency.

Required profile

• CA or CPA qualified.
• 3+ years of experience in FP&A, Management Accounting, Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partnering.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret large data sets and spot trends, risks and opportunities.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and strong organisational capabilities.
• Experience in fleet, automotive, leasing or other asset‑intensive environments is a plus.
