Financial Accounting Manager

About the role

Airnorth is seeking a Financial Accounting Manager to support its finance team across Perth and Darwin. The role reports to the GM Finance and is responsible for month‑end management, statutory accounts, and overseeing AR, AP and payroll operations for the Capiteq Group.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Revenue, Payroll, AR and AP teams, ensuring compliance and timely task completion.
• Liaise with auditors and oversee production of customer invoices, credit control and Days Sales Outstanding performance.
• Supervise the full payroll function for the Capiteq Group, maintaining deadlines and accuracy.
• Develop internal financial reporting, maintain monthly balance‑sheet reconciliations and prepare Business Activity Statements.
• Prepare statutory reports, maintain FBT accounts, support cash‑flow forecasting and budgetary control.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years experience in financial accounting for a medium to large company, with team management experience.
• CPA or CA qualified with strong analytical and numeracy skills.
• Ability to work independently, high attention to detail and problem‑solving mindset.
• Familiarity with a SOX environment and aviation industry exposure is a plus.
