Strategic Customer Operations Specialist

About the role

Medtronic is seeking a Strategic Customer Operations Specialist to own the operational side of enterprise account relationships. Based in Sydney, you will act as the single point of contact for customers, linking them to Medtronic’s Global Operations & Supply Chain to drive an exceptional Order‑to‑Cash experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end operational Order‑to‑Cash performance for segmented enterprise accounts, providing a personalized touch to key customers.
• Coordinate with internal teams—Customer Service, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Finance, and Sales—to resolve OTC‑related queries and issues.
• Monitor and report on metrics such as open orders, backorders, deliveries, returns, and disputes, identifying root causes and improvement opportunities.
• Partner with stakeholders to execute business and service improvements, including e‑business and delivery services.
• Prepare regular customer updates and operational reports, ensuring proactive communication.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain accurate records for process compliance.

Required profile

• Minimum Year 12 education.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in customer service or technical support.
• Strong process‑improvement mindset and ability to engage with multiple stakeholder groups.
