Strategic Account Director - Retail

About the role

Lead the growth and retention of Uber Eats' largest grocery and convenience partnerships across Australia and New Zealand. You will drive expansion, product adoption, and merchandising strategies to embed long‑term success for both partners and Uber Eats.

Key responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with decision‑makers and influencers throughout partner organisations.
• Identify and exploit opportunities to improve core business metrics for partners and Uber Eats.
• Design and lead growth initiatives, collaborating cross‑functionally with internal Uber teams and merchant partners.
• Govern strategic partnerships through executive engagement, joint business planning, and quarterly business reviews.
• Negotiate sophisticated deals and manage commercial and legal processes.
• Contribute to building a best‑in‑class B2B acquisition and account management function for the Grocery and Retail team.

Required profile

• Proven consultative selling experience with ASX‑100 level partners.
• Track record of managing a strategic pipeline, forecasting, and exceeding metrics‑based goals.
• Strong commercial acumen and understanding of business operations.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and project‑management skills.
• Experience working cross‑functionally and with C‑suite executives in retail is preferred.
