About the role
The Stores Location Planner will join Nike's Demand and Supply Management team, reporting to the Director of Nike Direct Stores Planning. You will collaborate with Merchandise Financial Planner, Allocations, and In‑Season Analyst to develop and communicate sales and inventory plans for Nike Value Stores and Company Stores across the Pacific region.
Key responsibilities
- Forecast and deliver sales and inventory plans, managing store capacity and stock receipts to maximise sales and mitigate over‑ or under‑capacity risks.
- Set up and communicate store promotions with Stores, Nike Direct Marketing and Visual Merchandising teams, including tactical promotions to address sales gaps.
- Produce and analyse weekly trade reports, track KPIs such as traffic, sales, units, capacity and conversion rates, and lead trade discussions.
- Partner with Merchandise Financial Planner, Allocators and In‑Season Analyst to plan and execute store plans and identify promotional opportunities.
- Represent planning in real‑estate meetings for store openings and closures, forecasting de‑stocking and load‑ins based on key dates and capacity.
Required profile
- 1‑2 years of retail planning experience in a vertical retail business or similar, with store forecasting and promotional planning exposure.
- Strong understanding of financial metrics, retail KPIs and product/inventory planning, with exceptional attention to detail.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, retail, supply chain, economics or related field (highly desired).
- Proven influencing and stakeholder‑management skills, comfortable engaging with cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
- Experience with planning software such as Just Enough or similar.
