Stores Officer

About the role

Alliance Airlines is seeking a proactive Stores Officer to support its engineering, workshop and procurement functions across its Brisbane Airport site, remote stores and the Alliance Distribution Centre. The role focuses on implementing best‑practice logistics and warehouse processes to improve safety, efficiency and cost control while delivering high‑quality service to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate daily store activities, ensuring compliance with safety, systems and procedural standards.
• Maintain and manage inventory for the local store and associated network, overseeing stock holdings, ordering and transfers.
• Support the stores network to achieve high performance and identify opportunities for system and procedure improvements.
• Assist with local procurement tasks and the processing of routable repairs.
• Develop and sustain strong relationships with management, staff, suppliers and freight partners.
• Provide assistance to internal and external audit teams as required.

Required profile

• Highly organised and adaptable individual with strong logical reasoning.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritise, plan and organise workload in consultation with team members to meet deadlines.
• Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail.
