Storeman - Forklift Warehouse

About the role

A leading company based in Riverwood is looking for a reliable and organised Storeman with a valid forklift licence to help with warehouse operations and keep the flow of goods moving. The position is full-time with an immediate start, Monday to Friday from 7:30am to 3:36pm, and pays $30-$32 per hour plus super.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, unload and store incoming deliveries in the warehouse.
• Operate a forklift safely to move and stack goods.
• Maintain accurate stock levels and keep inventory records up to date.
• Pick, pack and prepare orders for shipment or delivery.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organised and safe.
• Assist with stocktaking and inventory audits.
• Check products for quality and report any discrepancies or damage.
• Load and unload trucks safely.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company procedures.
• Help with labelling and sorting, and maintain equipment and report faults.

Required profile

• Valid forklift licence and experience operating a forklift in a warehouse.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physically fit, able to lift and move 20-25kg items frequently.
• Strong organisation, attention to detail and good communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and in a team.
• Commitment to health and safety.

Required skills

• Basic computer skills for inventory management; experience with warehouse management systems is a plus.
