Store Manager – Retail Automotive

About the role

The Store Manager leads daily operations of an Autobarn retail location, driving sales and ensuring an exceptional customer experience. Reporting to the Area Manager, you will inspire a high‑performing team and uphold safety and service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Champion a safety‑first culture by promoting safe work practices and managing risk.
• Drive profitable performance through sales, budgeting, margin control, inventory management and rostering.
• Lead by example, motivate staff to meet sales targets and deliver operational excellence.
• Maintain visual merchandising, promotional activities and overall store presentation.
• Recruit, coach and develop team members, fostering an inclusive and collaborative culture.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Store Manager or senior retail leader.
• Strong people leadership with ability to coach, motivate and develop high‑performing teams.
• Sales‑driven mindset capable of delivering financial results and KPIs.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Values‑led, collaborative approach with ability to lead change.
