Account Executive – APAC

About the role

Vertice is looking for an Account Executive based in Sydney to drive new business across the APAC region. You will work closely with the sales and business development teams to secure mid‑market SaaS contracts and shape market engagement.

Key responsibilities

• Independently source, manage and close mid‑market SaaS deals across APAC.
• Maintain accurate opportunity data in CRM to forecast revenue and meet quarterly/annual targets.
• Engage leads and prospects in person and via Zoom, acting as the product ambassador.
• Collaborate with partners to generate new business and relay market feedback to the product team.
• Attend events and networking opportunities to promote Vertice.

Required profile

• 4+ years of experience as an Account Executive selling SaaS products.
• Proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong relationship‑building and communication skills with merchants and partners.
• Resilient, tenacious and able to roll up sleeves to achieve results.
• Customer‑service oriented, professional and able to handle negotiations tactfully.
