Stewardship Programs Pharmacist

About the role

Join the Pharmacy Stewardship team at Grampians Health, supporting antimicrobial programmes across a large regional health service. You will work with the Coordinator to expand sustainable stewardship initiatives, contributing to clinical care, program development and service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support to antimicrobial stewardship programmes, promoting optimal use of antimicrobials.
• Offer clinical advice and leadership for implementation, expansion and evaluation of medicines stewardship programmes.
• Monitor key performance indicators through data collection, analysis and reporting.
• Deliver education programmes for pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
• Hospital pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of NSQHS and care standards.
• Strong planning and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Sound antimicrobial pharmacotherapy knowledge.
