Stewardship Programs Pharmacist – Antimicrobial Stewardship

About the role

Join Grampians Health’s growing Pharmacy Stewardship team to support antimicrobial programs across a large regional health service. You will work closely with the Stewardship Coordinator to strengthen and expand sustainable initiatives while contributing to clinical care, program development and service improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day support to antimicrobial stewardship programs throughout Grampians Health, promoting optimal antimicrobial use.
• Offer clinical advice and leadership to implement, embed, expand and evaluate medicines stewardship initiatives.
• Monitor key performance indicators by collecting, analysing and reporting relevant data.
• Deliver education programs for pharmacy and multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• AHPRA registration as a pharmacist.
• Hospital pharmacy experience.
• Knowledge of NSQHS and care standards.
• Strong planning and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Sound understanding of antimicrobial pharmacotherapy.
