About the role
The Stewarding team at Grand Hyatt Melbourne ensures all kitchen and service areas are clean, well‑maintained and ready for guest use. You will support the smooth operation of food‑service outlets by handling cleaning, equipment storage and basic maintenance tasks.
Key responsibilities
- Perform general cleaning duties and store operating equipment safely.
- Maintain work areas according to Hyatt guidelines and report any issues to the manager on duty.
- Follow the posted roster and adhere to health‑and‑safety standards.
Required profile
- Positive attitude with a focus on customer service.
- Unrestricted working visa for Australia.
- Previous stewarding or hotel experience preferred.
Required skills
- Ability to use and care for cleaning and kitchen equipment.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow standard operating procedures.
