S&S Banking Consultant – Part Time

About the role

The S&S Banking Consultant provides front‑line sales and service to customers in a retail banking environment. Working from the Peninsular Fair Shopping Centre in Kippa Ring, you will handle face‑to‑face interactions and inbound/outbound calls, helping customers with everyday banking enquiries, account openings and digital onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver customer‑focused service that drives satisfaction and first‑call resolution.
• Provide accurate information on everyday banking enquiries, account openings and related processes via phone or online channels.
• Educate and support customers in using digital banking platforms, encouraging self‑service.
• Assist with digital onboarding to ensure a seamless experience for new clients.
• Maintain compliance with internal policies, privacy legislation and underwriting guidelines.

Required profile

• Experience in sales and customer service within a banking or financial services setting.
• Ability to handle both face‑to‑face interactions and telephone enquiries.
• Familiarity with everyday banking products and digital banking tools.
• Strong listening skills, trust‑building and question‑asking to exceed customer expectations.
• Commitment to compliance and risk management.
