Specialised Carer – Dementia Care (Night Shift)

About the role

HammondCare North Turramurra is seeking permanent part‑time specialised carers for night duty to provide tailored, person‑centred support to residents living with dementia. You will work within a residential home environment, ensuring the safety, comfort and wellbeing of elderly residents during overnight shifts.

Key responsibilities

• Provide personal care such as showering, grooming and toileting.
• Facilitate life‑engagement activities and support daily living.
• Assist residents with varying levels of dementia, recognising and responding to changes in condition.
• Report any concerns or incidents in line with your competencies.

Required profile

• Genuine passion for serving elderly people and making a difference.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends on a rotating roster.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge and experience caring for people with dementia.
• Certificate III or IV in Aged Care is highly regarded.
