OHS Consultant - South East Victoria

About the role

Marsh is seeking an Occupational Health and Safety Consultant to join its Advisory team in South East Victoria. The role involves on‑site client work, providing hands‑on OHS support, risk management advice and occasional travel to the Docklands office.

Key responsibilities

• Build collaborative relationships with clients to support their OHS outcomes.
• Travel to client sites and conduct risk assessments, incident investigations, workplace inspections and OHS system audits.
• Assist clients in implementing OHS management systems and best practice policies.
• Deliver accurate written and verbal reports and support key client programs and projects.

Required profile

• Tertiary qualification in Occupational Health and Safety (minimum Cert IV) or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of OHS advisory or related experience; Working with Children Check and a current driver’s licence with own vehicle.
• Professionalism and experience working with government organisations is highly regarded.

Required skills

• Sound knowledge of OHS legislation and current issues.
• Understanding of risk management principles applied to WHS hazards.
• Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training (preferred).
• Exemplar Global OHS auditor accreditation (preferred).
