Solution Engineer – Operational Risk Management

About the role

The Solution Engineer supports customers in adopting Sphera’s Operational Risk Management software, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the lifecycle. The role blends technical expertise, industry knowledge, and solution consulting to help organisations improve safety, compliance and risk outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct discovery workshops, solution reviews and value assessments with prospective and existing customers.
• Provide subject‑matter expertise for Sphera Control of Work, Advanced Risk Assessment, Process Safety Management and Master Data Management solutions.
• Deliver tailored software demonstrations, technical presentations and proof‑of‑concept engagements.
• Support sales teams with opportunity strategy, pipeline growth and tender response preparation.
• Assist implementation, configuration, testing and training to ensure successful adoption.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in solution engineering, technical pre‑sales, enterprise SaaS consulting or operational risk management.
• Proven ability to develop RFP/RFI/RFQ responses and support enterprise SaaS applications.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management and commercial awareness.

Required skills

• Salesforce CRM experience.
• Knowledge of Control of Work, Advanced Risk Assessment, Master Data Management, Process Safety Management and Operational Risk Management platforms.
