Solution Architect (Amdocs)

About the role

We are looking for a senior Solution Architect with extensive experience in backend and API development, particularly within the telecom sector. The role demands strong expertise in Java 11 and Amdocs platforms, and the ability to lead architectural decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend systems and APIs supporting various applications.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications, identifying and resolving bottlenecks and bugs.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
• Lead architectural discussions to guarantee scalability and maintainability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
• 15+ years of software development experience, including at least 5 years as a senior architect.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a fast‑paced team environment.

Required skills

• Java 11 as primary programming language.
• Expertise in Amdocs Jarvis (CRM), Ambar (Billing & Collection), SDP & MCSS (Integration).
• Solid understanding of backend development principles and API design.
• Experience in the telecom domain focusing on backend systems.
• Familiarity with Channel (OCA/MOA) systems and Credit Services – Inteflow.
• Knowledge of cloud technologies, particularly AWS.
