Network Development Engineer Graduate

About the role

Join a team that deploys and automates one of the world’s largest and most complex networks. As a Network Development Engineer Graduate you will work within AWS Infrastructure to deploy network infrastructure that supports Amazon Retail, Kindle, Payments and multiple AWS services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy network infrastructure across all network fabrics supporting Amazon Retail, Kindle, Payments and AWS services.
• Scale the network across multiple global data centers, including existing and greenfield locations.
• Create and improve repetitive deployment processes to increase delivery velocity and quality.
• Collaborate with internal customers on designs and bring solutions from concept to production.
• Maintain and update network standards to ensure compliant deployments.
• Work with automation teams to define tools for high‑volume scaling.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Telecommunications or a similar program, graduating in 2026 or within the past 24 months.
• Experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Experience scripting in Python, Perl or Shell.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IP networking fundamentals and routing protocols such as BGP and OSPF.
• Understanding of network hardware and packet‑forwarding architectures.
