Social Media Manager

About the role

Built, a privately owned construction company operating across Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, is looking for a Social Media Manager to own and evolve its social media presence. The role works alongside the Brand and Marketing teams to turn the company's projects, people and culture into engaging content.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the execution of Built's social media strategy across all key channels
• Increase the frequency, quality and effectiveness of content across the business
• Partner with Marketing, project and business leaders to find stories that strengthen the brand and reputation
• Drive audience growth, engagement and share of voice through creative, relevant and timely content, tracked with measurable data
• Explore emerging platforms such as podcasting and long-form video
• Capture content on project sites, present strategic recommendations, analyse performance data and coach leaders on social engagement

Required profile

• Experience managing and growing social media channels in a corporate, agency or brand environment
• A proven track record of content that drives audience growth, engagement and brand awareness
• Strong storytelling, copywriting and stakeholder engagement skills
• A proactive, agile approach to spotting opportunities and responding quickly

Required skills

• Filming, photography and video editing
• Experience briefing external production professionals
