Social Media Intern

About the role

Lorna Jane is seeking a creative and curious Social Media Intern to join its Brisbane marketing team three days a week. This hands‑on, paid internship is ideal for a marketing student or recent graduate who loves content creation, social platforms, and a brand that empowers women.

Key responsibilities

• Create and schedule posts for Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Facebook.
• Write captions and copy that reflect the confident, warm Lorna Jane brand voice.
• Support community management by engaging authentically with followers.
• Monitor social trends and propose fresh content ideas.
• Assist with campaign roll‑outs from brief development to publishing.
• Track performance metrics and report insights on what resonates.
• Collaborate with the creative team on photo/video shoots and asset briefings.

Required profile

• Currently studying or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications or a related field.
• Genuine connection to the Lorna Jane brand and active‑living philosophy.
• Strong eye for visual content and attention to detail.
• Proactive, solutions‑focused attitude with the ability to generate ideas.

Required skills

• Familiarity with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest and Facebook.
• Experience using social‑media scheduling tools.
• Confident written communication and ability to adopt a brand voice.
