Small Business Specialist

About the role

ANZ's Small Business Specialists are based in its branches and provide full lending and working capital solutions to new and existing business customers. They also make outbound calls to existing customers to identify and support additional needs. Working with product partners and colleagues, they ensure the right lending and working capital solutions meet customer needs. The role leads to many career pathways within commercial banking and across ANZ, with tailored learning and accreditation opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Meet a broad range of business customers in the branch to understand their business banking needs
• Call existing customers to check whether they have additional banking needs
• Work with product partners and other stakeholders to meet customer needs
• Advise customers in their best interests with suitable products and services
• Build relationships with the local community to drive commercial value

Required profile

• Ideally strong customer service and business development experience
• Comfortable working face to face with a wide range of clients
• Strong stakeholder management experience
• Ability to work cohesively in a team
• Commercial Banking and Retail Banking experience highly regarded
