Small Business Lending Specialist – Sydney

About the role

ANZ is looking for a Small Business Lending Specialist to join its National Business Centre in Sydney. You will work with entrepreneurs and small‑business owners, helping them secure the financing they need to start, run, and grow their enterprises.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with existing and prospective small‑business customers through inbound and outbound channels.
• Conduct needs‑based conversations to understand customers' cash‑flow situations and financial goals.
• Provide tailored product recommendations using ANZ’s suite of lending solutions.
• Refer complex cases to specialised lending teams when necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of interactions and follow the bank’s operating rhythm.

Required profile

• Professional phone etiquette and strong communication skills.
• Ability to adhere to a structured roster and operating procedures.
• Interest in small‑business and commercial markets.

Required skills

• Understanding of cash‑flow concepts (Money In, Managing Money, Money Out).
• Familiarity with ANZ products, procedures, and services.
