Site Supervisor

About the role

Dematic is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to join its Project Delivery team in Melbourne. You will coordinate installation, commissioning and engineering activities for large‑scale warehouse automation projects, ensuring safe, on‑time and high‑quality delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review mechanical and electrical installation drawings and plans.
• Liaise with clients, builders and sub‑contractors to align project requirements.
• Promote innovation, risk identification and safety management (WHSE).
• Organise and supervise inspection, maintenance and commissioning of installed equipment.
• Manage day‑to‑day activities of sub‑contractors and ensure quality assurance inspections.

Required profile

• 5+ years experience as a Site Supervisor/Manager on large capital projects.
• Mechanical and/or Electrical trade background.
• Strong knowledge of WHSE requirements and team leadership.
• Willingness to travel interstate and overseas (APAC) when required.

Required skills

• Mechanical and electrical installation expertise.
• Technical knowledge of material handling equipment.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
