Site Supervisor – High Voltage Substations

About the role

The company is a leading energy infrastructure organisation delivering high‑voltage electrical projects across Australia. As a Site Supervisor you will manage day‑to‑day operations on utilities, ASP Level 1 works, substations and BESS sites, ensuring safe and efficient delivery of electrical and civil works.

Key responsibilities

• Lead on‑site construction teams to deliver high‑voltage infrastructure safely, on time and to specification.
• Coordinate subcontractors, site activities and daily construction operations to maintain project momentum.
• Enforce compliance with safety systems, SWMS and site‑specific safety requirements.
• Monitor progress, resolve site issues and escalate technical or design queries as needed.
• Maintain accurate site reporting including daily logs, labour, materials and progress tracking.
• Conduct toolbox talks, pre‑start meetings and provide strong on‑site safety leadership.

Required profile

• Electrical trade qualification with an electrician background.
• Proven supervisory or leading‑hand experience in high‑voltage environments.
• Experience with 132 kV substations, switchgear, cabling and commissioning activities.
• Background in BESS or large‑scale energy infrastructure projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics and construction documentation.
• Solid understanding of construction safety systems and site‑based risk management.
