Site Supervisor - Defence Projects

About the role

Join Built as a Site Supervisor on one of Australia’s most ambitious defence projects in Western Sydney. You will be a key member of the project team, responsible for coordinating site delivery while meeting quality, schedule, OHS and industrial‑relations requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate site delivery for government and defence projects, ensuring compliance with quality, time, OHS and industrial‑relations standards.
• Supervise construction activities during installation, inspection, testing and commissioning, verifying work against drawings and specifications.
• Lead on‑site teams, delegate tasks, mentor staff and resolve conflicts effectively.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and report status to project management.

Required profile

• NV1 Defence Clearance (baseline clearance minimum).
• Trade or tertiary qualification in Building/Construction Management or Civil Engineering.
• 7‑10 years experience in construction roles leading up to Site Supervisor.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, delegate, negotiate and influence outcomes.

Required skills

• Basic contracts management knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Exceptional time‑management, planning and organisational abilities.
