Site Manager for $80M Community Development

About the role

Hindmarsh is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of a major $80M community and sporting development in Fairfield, Western Sydney. You will work closely with the Project Manager and commercial and engineering teams to ensure safe, efficient, and high‑quality construction.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day construction activities on site and implement the construction program to meet key milestones.
• Coordinate and manage Site Supervisors, subcontractors, and suppliers, monitoring progress and resolving issues that could affect schedule, quality, or safety.
• Ensure compliance with design documentation, specifications, codes, and contractual requirements.
• Manage quality assurance, inspections, and defect rectification throughout construction.
• Coach and support team members to foster a collaborative, high‑performing site culture.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in site management or supervision within commercial construction.
• Proven ability to manage subcontractors and suppliers on large, complex building projects.
• Strong knowledge of Australian construction standards, codes, and safety requirements.
• Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant qualification in Building, Construction Management, or a related trade.

Required skills

• Experience using Aconex, MS Project, Bluebeam or similar construction software.
