Site Manager – Construction Projects

About the role

Honeywell is seeking an experienced Site Manager to lead construction projects in Cairns. You will oversee design review, planning, quality inspections, and the coordination of subcontractors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Manage subcontractors and onsite customer satisfaction.
• Ensure construction results meet scope, time, quality, and schedule requirements.
• Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy work environment in line with legal regulations.
• Review construction documentation with consultants and verify compliance with specifications, buildability, and commissionability.
• Control security and access management onsite.

Required profile

• Preferably a tertiary qualification in engineering or a trade background.
• At least 10 years of experience in brown‑field contracts, retrofits, and upgrades.
• Proven ability to lead and manage day‑to‑day onsite activities, including HSE and subcontractor management.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a flexible, dynamic team environment.
