Site Manager - Commercial Construction

About the role

Sarah Constructions, a South Australian family-owned builder with more than 65 years of experience, is looking for an experienced Site Manager to lead the delivery of commercial new build projects from commencement through to handover. The role works closely with the Project Manager and the wider project team to deliver projects safely, on programme, within budget and to a high standard of quality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day delivery of commercial construction projects from start to finish
• Provide strong leadership across site teams, subcontractors and key stakeholders
• Manage project programming, sequencing and site coordination
• Oversee procurement, subcontractor management and project resources
• Identify and manage project risks, issues and opportunities
• Maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors and stakeholders
• Drive quality assurance and ensure construction standards are consistently maintained
• Help build a positive, accountable and high-performing site culture

Required profile

• Established Site Manager with a strong commercial construction background
• Minimum 10 years' commercial construction experience
• Track record delivering commercial new build and/or fit-out/refurbishment projects above $50M
• Experience managing complex projects from commencement through to completion
• Proactive, solutions-focused approach with strong attention to detail
