Qualified Maintenance Plumber - Commercial Service

About the role

Adelaide General Plumbing is looking for an experienced, trade-qualified Maintenance Plumber to join its service team, carrying out reactive and planned maintenance across commercial properties. This is a hands-on role with varied days of service calls, fault finding and repairs, plus planned maintenance. There is no on-call roster, so your time outside work hours is your own.

Key responsibilities

• Attend reactive service calls and diagnose and repair plumbing faults quickly and professionally.
• Carry out planned and preventative maintenance on commercial properties.
• Clear blockages and repair or replace taps, toilets, valves, pipework and hot water systems.
• Servicing and testing plumbing fixtures and equipment such as backflow prevention, tempering valves and hot water units.
• Complete job paperwork accurately and on time, including job notes, photos and time and materials.
• Communicate clearly with customers, site contacts and the office team.
• Ensure all work meets Australian Plumbing Standards and relevant safety requirements.

Required profile

• Cert III in Plumbing (fully qualified).
• Current South Australian plumbing licence or registration.
• Proven hands-on experience in commercial service and maintenance plumbing, with strong fault-finding skills.
• Valid driver's licence and a good set of hand tools.
• Professional, friendly manner and pride in leaving every job neat.
• Reliable, self-motivated, safety-conscious and able to work independently.
