- Provide strategic oversight of project performance, schedules, budgets, milestones, risks and resources, and align projects with client and business objectives.
- Recruit, develop and mentor project managers, supervisors and other team members, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
- Establish project governance, controls and reporting, and identify and manage project and portfolio risks.
- Manage portfolio budgets, forecasting, cash flow and cost control, and oversee procurement, tender evaluation and commercial negotiations.
- Act as the main interface with clients and stakeholders, build trusted relationships, and provide executive-level reporting on portfolio performance.
- Standardise systems and reporting across the portfolio, capture lessons learned and improve delivery processes.
Required profile
- At least 5 years' experience in a senior project or program management leadership role.
- Experience delivering major project and program portfolios in construction, infrastructure, resources, facilities management or related industries.
- Proven experience managing large budgets, forecasting, contract performance and financial outcomes, and leading multidisciplinary teams across geographically dispersed operations.
- Ideally a degree in Construction Management, Project Management, Engineering or a related discipline, or a diploma/advanced diploma in Building & Construction; or significant experience in senior leadership roles.
Required skills
- Project controls, governance frameworks, risk management, procurement and contractor management.
- Advanced use of project management software, reporting platforms and digital project tools.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and client relationship management.
Highly regarded: WHS (Mines) Regulations 2022 Statutory Supervisor certification, Certificate IV in Work Health & Safety, and professional project management certifications. To apply, submit an application with an updated resume.
