Site Engineer – Remedial Works (Kalgoorlie)

About the role

Freyssinet Australia is expanding its regional team in Kalgoorlie to deliver specialist remedial and civil projects. As a Site Engineer you will be based on‑site, working alongside experienced Project Managers and supervisors to ensure the successful execution of concrete repair and structural strengthening works.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in planning and coordinating remedial works on site.
• Review drawings, specifications and scopes to confirm accurate delivery.
• Support daily site activities, liaising with supervisors and subcontractors.
• Monitor progress, quality and compliance with project requirements.
• Prepare documentation such as Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), Safe Work Method Statements (SWMS), reports and progress updates.
• Assist with cost tracking, procurement and programme management.
• Maintain a strong safety focus throughout all site operations.

Required profile

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience in construction or civil engineering.
• Exposure to concrete repair, structural strengthening or other remedial works is highly regarded.
• Practical, hands‑on mindset with strong problem‑solving abilities.
• Willingness to be based in Kalgoorlie (not a FIFO arrangement).
• Effective communication with site teams and stakeholders.
