About the role
We are seeking an experienced Site Accountant to join our established mining operation in Central Queensland. You will work within a supportive commercial team, closely partnering with site operations to drive the financial performance of the business.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare financial and management reports.
- Conduct budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis.
- Monitor costs and analyse financial performance.
- Provide financial and commercial support to operational teams.
- Support general accounting and compliance requirements.
Required profile
- Degree in Accounting, Finance or Commerce.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience, preferably in mining or heavy industry.
- CA/CPA qualification or working towards completion.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Practical, hands‑on approach with ability to work with site teams.
