Financial Services Officer

About the role

Elders is seeking a Financial Services Officer to join its Dalby branch on a permanent, full-time basis. The officer supports customers and colleagues with specialist knowledge, trains and guides team members so the whole branch is confident in delivering the full suite of financial services, and acts as the branch's go-to person for financial products.

Key responsibilities

• Provide ongoing training and product knowledge to team members on the financial services product suite.
• Develop and implement an annual branch financial services business plan aligned with the 8PP.
• Run sales campaigns to identify client opportunities across products such as deposits, own balance sheet lending, agri-finance loans, commercial and asset finance, livestock and wool in transit warranty, insurance and prepayment facilities.
• Assist customers directly with deposit needs through one-on-one service, including account opening, maintenance, rollovers and general enquiries.
• Follow operational procedures for deposits and ensure 100% compliance with relevant legislation, such as AML/CTF.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in administrative functions.
• Background in the Elders branch network or comparable experience in the agricultural or related industries.
• Track record of excellent customer service and ability to collaborate with internal teams and external partners.
• Strong organisational and communication skills.

• Skilled in interpersonal communication and stakeholder relationship management.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer operations.
