Service Attendant – Housekeeping & Kitchen (BIBO/DIDO 14:7)

About the role

Sodexo is looking for experienced Service Attendants to join its regional Queensland operations, working in a busy village environment supporting mining communities. The role involves housekeeping, cleaning and kitchen duties on a 14:7 BIBO/DIDO roster from Mackay.

Key responsibilities

• Housekeeping and cleaning of up to 30 accommodation rooms (dongas) per day.
• Cleaning and maintaining mine‑site offices, outdoor areas and common areas.
• Providing quality meals and hospitality services to keep the community running safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• Valid Australian driver’s licence.
• Physically fit and able to work 11‑hour shifts.
• Ability to work well both in a team and independently.
• Willingness to work in remote environments and varying weather conditions.
• Pass pre‑employment medical, drug and alcohol tests.
• Full Australian working rights.
