Chef FIFO 2:1 Roster – Brisbane

About the role

Sodexo is seeking experienced chefs for a FIFO position based in Southeast Queensland. You will work on a 14‑days‑on, 7‑days‑off roster, providing high‑quality meals to residents on remote sites while enjoying full accommodation and meals on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver large‑scale meals for breakfast, dinner, crèche and pastry services in a remote, bulk‑cooking environment.
• Maintain food safety standards, including HACCP compliance, and ensure consistent quality across all meals.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support resident wellbeing and deliver exceptional customer service.

Required profile

• Australian citizenship, permanent residency or full working rights.
• Trade Certificate or Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
• Proven experience in mass‑catering or bulk cooking, preferably in remote site settings.
• Strong leadership, organisational skills and a passion for delivering high‑quality culinary experiences.
