Servery Staff

About the role

Anglicare Sydney is looking for Servery Staff to create a positive mealtime experience that supports residents' health, dignity and emotional wellbeing. The role involves attentive service and collaboration with the kitchen and care teams, so that every meal is served with warmth, safety and professionalism.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, present and serve meals to residents
• Follow individual dietary, texture and meal requirements
• Check food temperature, presentation and serving standards
• Maintain clean and safe kitchen, dining and storage areas
• Welcome residents warmly and report relevant changes to the supervisor

Required profile

• A minimum of 6 months' experience in a food service, kitchen or hospitality environment
• Experience preparing, presenting or serving meals
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• NDIS Worker Screening Check clearance
• Current First Aid Certificate
• Preferred: experience in residential aged care, a Food Handling Certificate or equivalent food safety training, experience supporting dietary, allergen or texture-modified meals, and experience maintaining kitchen and food service areas
