SEO Specialist – Organic Search Lead

About the role

Lemonade Digital is seeking an SEO Specialist to own the organic search channel for a diverse portfolio of clients across Australian and UK markets. You will shape strategy, execute technical and content initiatives, and adapt to the evolving AI‑driven search landscape.

Key responsibilities

• Lead SEO strategy and execution, covering technical, on‑page and content optimisation.
• Conduct comprehensive technical audits and translate findings into clear, prioritised actions.
• Develop content strategies based on search intent rather than keyword volume.
• Collaborate with the web team on site architecture, crawlability, performance and Core Web Vitals.
• Monitor AI developments in search and guide clients on necessary adjustments.
• Report on performance, insights and next steps to stakeholders.
• Support paid media campaigns where skill overlap exists.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of SEO experience, preferably agency‑side.
• Strong technical SEO foundation (crawlability, site structure, Core Web Vitals, schema).
• Comfortable with GA4, Google Search Console and SEO tools such as Semrush and Screaming Frog.
• Experience with CMS platforms like Umbraco or WordPress.
• Genuine curiosity about AI’s impact on search and a habit of continuous learning.
• Clear communicator who can present strategy and results without jargon.
• Experience with Google Ads, Meta Ads or other paid platforms is a plus.
